Kelsey Castro

I have been swimming for 13 years and teaching swim lessons for 6 years. I began swimming competitively at age 9 on a year round swim team and continued until I was 17. I qualified for the High School State Swimming Championship 4 years in a row at Friendswood High School. I have been playing water polo for 4 years on a year round team as well as my high school team. . I have qualified for the High School State Water Polo Championships 2 years in a row. I am a two-time USA Water Polo Junior Olympian and I am now a Division-1 water polo player for the George Washington University Women's Water Polo team.

I teach swim and water polo lessons to people of all ages from infants to adults. I can teach basic technique and water safety as well as training for rising Junior High and High School swimmers and water polo players to make them more competitive in those areas as well as for club swimming and water polo. If at some point a swimmer or water polo player decides to begin playing club I can recommend many swim and water polo teams throughout the area that will cater to each individual swimmer's needs.

I am available in and around Friendswood, TX during the summer months (May through August) and I have a pool available for lessons and I am also willing to travel to the swimmer's location. For special occasions I am available the last two weeks of December through the first two weeks of January as well as a week during March. Although I do not have a pool available during these times, I am willing to travel to the swimmer's location.

I am available in and around the Washington DC area for most of September through April while I am attending the George Washington University although I do not have a pool available to me, I can travel to wherever my swimmers have a pool available to them.
